As a step towards resource integration, the Group has invested in setting
up a 10-megawatt (MW) power plant.
In order to become self reliant, fuel free power is generated by tapping the flu gases out of the three
kilns at our sponge iron plant, which otherwise would have been purified
and let out into the air.
The eco-friendly power generated is for the Group’s captive consumption. |
